Fake IEEE MED conferences

We received the following report for one more site that offers Fake (Bogus/Junk) IEEE Conferences. The report for these fake conferences appeared today in:
http://netdriver.blogspot.com/2011/11/new-frauds-from-ieee-at-india-fake-ieee.html
and is as follows

Fake IEEE MED conferences:
These conferences are organized by the "Mediterranean Control Association"
However, this "Association" is a Company based in USA by a Greek Professor.
We sent them two papers describing the equipment of our laboratory.
We copied the manual of Inverted Pendulum and we got the acceptance letter after
some days. So, for sure include in your fake conferences list the
Fake IEEE MED conferences

Unfortunately, our commentor was right.
We checked it and we found that this "Mediterranean Control Association" is a company registered in United States of America
Check it yourself: http://nd.edu/~pantsakl/MCA
and not in Mediterranean as they claim.
After sending emails to several previous participants, we got a reply:

I have sent them papers twice. They had been accepted without any modification and without any review comments. Our registration fees were sent to the company MCA in USA and not to any non-profit club in some Mediterranean Country. At that time, we did not wonder why. The conference services were poor in both times and most of the sessions were empty or completely cancelled.

However, the beaches and the swimming pools were full of "IEEE MED" delegates.

Maybe, controlists are inspired in their pioneer ideas in the sea or in the swimming pool, especially if they are any (semi-)naked women around.

We have also noticed that they called their conferences as "IEEE Conferences" in the previous years, while they were only technically co-sponsored by IEEE.

This year, 2012, they follow lower profile. So, they do not call their Conference "20th IEEE Mediterranean Conference on Control and Automation"
but only "20th Mediterranean Conference on Control and Automation".

We have heard that they had serious problems with IEEE Head Quarters, most probably because their conferences had published several junk papers.

New Bogus Conferences

You should put up the whole content of annaworld.000space.com like these guys did:

http://academic-spam.blogspot.com/2011/09/dr-john-fisher-fake-figure-of-internet.html

A fake paper was accepted by Nina Ringo's Vienna conference. See

http://viennaconference.blogspot.com/ for details.

3 web sites are wounds of fake conferences (they include the name of IEEE with the IEEE permission)

We have discovered that this web site is one more wound of fake conferences

http://world-research-institute.org/conferences.html

People from "world-research-institute" do not have the names of their "Board of Directors" on their web site making so their site more suspicious and bogus. They have spammed us repeatedly. I sent them a junk paper and they told that if I pay they would include it in IEEE Xplore Data Base (known for all of you of the fake SCIgen papers that publishes from time to time) . Unfortunately for them the IEEE Xplore is not an index.
They take advantage of the name of IEEE that they use in their conferences

A similar wound of junk conferences is the site of "promote research"

We asked by email the participants and we found the following common features
of both these wounds of junk publishing
1. Both send us so much spam
2. Both use the name of IEEE
3. Both have no real review
4. It seems that their conferences took place only in their 1st day only. The second and third day, they close the conferences rooms (saving money for the conference rooms' rental and for coffee-breaks, gala dinner) and send their people to excursions. From these excursions their conference organizers have an extra remarkable income.
5. Both these fake institutes do not publish the names of their "Board of Directors" on their web site making so their sites dubious, suspicious and absolutely bogus.
5. They pay their royalties, commission to IEEE normally.
The IEEE headquarters and the Administration of these Bogus Publishers are happy.
How and why IEEE continue selling its name to these academic criminals?

PSEUDO-SCIENCE! I received this Spam today. Clearly this is a bogus IEEE Conference.

I received this Spam today. Clearly this is a bogus IEEE Conference. See below, they demand extra money from you to publish in their fake journals. Many colleagues had sent in the past emails to IEEE reporting this web site of pseudo-conferences aicit.org, but no reply. It seems that IEEE which is the major gilty likes to receive a percent from the conference proceedings by selling the name and logo of IEEE to this pseudo-science fora. These conference creates too noise with their pseudo-science!

The Audacity of IEEE has no limit

From the site
we find

http://academic-spam.blogspot.com/2010/09/audacity-of-ieee-has-no-limits.html

The Audacity of IEEE has no limits (see the email that we received today below).
It seems that it is ot enough to provide the IEEE name to Professional Scammers, but also bombards us daily with ridiculous messages. The IEEE, of course knows that its database "IEEExplore" is full of garbage papers generated by the collaboration of suspicious "organizations".

These "organizations" - fraud are simply web sitesand nothing more. We hope some people will see our complaints here and will stop the IEEE conferences
that the following fake organizations and professional scammers organize: IRAST, HIGHSCI, IARIA, IACSIT, grs-association.org, AICIT.
This is what some other sites call: COMMERCE of IEEE.
You can also put in Google: IEEE Fake Conferences,
IEEE Bogus Conferences, IEEE Junk Conferences.
Many scientists make compalints every day, but in vain!!!!
(See the email that we received today below).
